The new triple towered 34 story hotel by architect
David Rockwell boasts 1,176 rooms and is the height of luxury and comfort
with in room 22 channels of 27" color TV, free Internet access via
a high speed Ethernet connection
( hook up cable included ) for your laptop,
iron and ironing board, hair dryer, security safe in room with convenience
bar - plus one of the most comfortable beds you will ever lie down on -
with lots of pillows. Security abounds with cameras in the hallway ceilings
and more. There are several spacious garages with both valet and
self parking availability and more than 4,500 spaces including ultra-wide
handicapped facilities. The new convention center and ballroom is
available to cater your business meeting opr exposition. Entertainment
abounds in the 300 seat cabaret where you can enjoy king sized drinks while
listening to top celebrity entertainers like Tony Bennett and Cher. Arena
football with the home team, the Mohegan Wolves, ladies' basketball tournaments
and more.
Shopping is a pleasure with more than 30 upscale specialty shopping mall to browse. I especially liked SeaOdyssey with its giant aquariums about the store so you can watch the sharks while you shop....and they can watch you! There are also more than 29 restaurants of all cuisines from ribs and seafood to continental and asian cuisine and a good old fashioned 1950's diner.
